Financial Planning

Dream, Plan Achieve!

Many people have a filing box full of statements and policy documents but rarely do they know how these pieces of the jigsaw fit into their overall financial plan.

When we go through the financial planning process we can clearly see how these individual pieces fit into a bigger picture and how we can bring them together to meet client expectations. We build these plans with and not for our clients.

Financial Planning provides direction and meaning to financial decisions. It allows our clients to understand how each financial decision they make affects other areas of their finances. By viewing each financial decision as part of a whole, we can consider its short and long-term effects on life goals. Once a financial plan is established we can adapt more easily to life changes and feel more secure that objectives are on track.

Like any other important project, a financial plan requires regular updates and reviews in line with objectives and life changes.  We meet our clients on a regular basis to make sure we do not lose sight of the overall plan and adapt accordingly.

A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.  Quote: General George S Patton.

Project Solutions

Sometimes a client may not want us to look at long term planning but may instead want us to advise on one particular aspect of their financial plan. This may be pension planning, investment portfolio planning or even protection for the family or the business.

Second opinion work is becoming a larger part of our business as clients increasingly place more value on a totally independent view of their financial affairs. As we quote a set fee for the work, the advice we give is based on what we see and not what we want to earn!

Professional Partners

As financial planners, we work with professionals in a wide variety of disciplines. Due to the complex nature of financial planning no one person can claim to be a specialist in all areas. We therefore have a close working relationship with specialists in the following areas:

- Trusts

- Tax Advice

- Legal Advice

- Mortgages, commercial and residential

- Discretionary Fund Management

There may be additional charges for their services but these fees are always quoted to you before any work begins.
