Steve entered Financial Services in 1987, initially qualifying as a Member of the Society of Financial Advisers after receiving the prestigious Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.

He is a qualified pensions transfer specialist, an Associate of both the Personal Finance Society and Institute of Financial Planning and one of only a small number of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERcm professionals AND Chartered Financial Planner licensees in the UK.

Steve has a very personal style and spends a lot of time with clients making the complex issues of finance more understandable. With his experience and qualifications, Steve is always well aware of the opportunities available for clients but likes to keep things as simple and non-contentious as possible.

A former Chair of the Sheffield Life & Pensions Society, he joined Louise Oliver to establish the Taylor Oliver Partnership in 2002.

Married with two sons, Steve is a committed supporter of community initiatives and is the Chair of Governors at a local primary school.
